(It was pointed out to me very graciously by Lua that I made a common mistake using the wrong gender association for a simple sentence I made. When in the video I duplicated myself and said, "Nosotros somos ninas" -which means, We are girls- I was supposed to say, "Nosotras somos ninas."  Gracias Lua! :)

I'm Addicted to Rosetta Stone!

This is the greatest learning program, its so much fun. I think I will actually be able to learn something. I get to read spanish, write spanish, hear it and see the pictures associated. There is no English, its all picture association.

I have my first few Vlog Lessons planned already for you, but I have to get a program for my computer to help me with editing the videos for YOUR optimal learning experience. :) I'm trying to figure out how to Vlog so that you can see what I'm learning and so that you can learn too, but I'm not as tech savvy as I'd like. So maybe as I make the videos, if you have any ideas on how to improve your learning experience, drop me a line and I will see how I can improve my Vlog.

Welcome to Missy in Spanish Says...

Missy in Spanish Says...

     is my Vlog of Spanish Lessons. 

I have tried learning Spanish taking a few modular courses last year and I failed miserably. But I love the language and since I need to learn it anyways, I thought I would give it another try before I get to Spain. Together we will see how successful I am. I have heard wonderful things about the Rosetta Stone software, and so I have decided to try it out. Come Vlog with me and we will learn Spanish together. :) 

If you already know spanish, I'm assuming that 'MissyinSpanish' will be a very funny vlog for you as I make common mistakes and fumble with the pronunciation. I am just beginning, I know that mistakes will occur, it will be very mockable im sure. ;) Feel free to correct me and to give me tips and insight on how to improve. 

And for those of you who do not know, 

spanish in Spain has somewhat of a lisp, 

so when I pronounce "grathias" instead of "gracias", it is intentional. ;)
